Benefits Of A Strong Spare Parts Inventory

Can-Eng Furnaces International Ltd. provides our customers with Custom Heat Treatment Systems designed to suit the specific needs of their highly specialized products while also meeting product quality & capacity requirements at the lowest cost/lb to process. These products include High Quality Critical Fasteners, Aluminum Automotive Components, Steel Bar, Plate and Tube products. In order to achieve this, unique system specific components must be designed and implemented into these custom applications.

What does having unique components on your equipment mean? It means that not all parts can be purchased generically “off the shelf” or be made readily available from local suppliers, thereby jeopardizing the Heat Treatment System’s Capacity.

Due to this, Can-Eng recommends having several of these spare parts in inventory to eliminate extended downtime as a result of potential failed componentry. This will allow you to stay ahead of the competition by being prepared for scheduled predictive maintenance, and even be ready for those unscheduled events that require replacement parts.

To assist our customers in defining custom and critical spare parts, we have compiled a short list below, broken-down by furnace type specific groups.

Mesh Belt Heat Treatment Systems, recommended components include:

  • Hearth Tiles
  • T-Bars
  • Burner Tubes
  • Load Table Drums, Furnace Hearth Rolls and Return Drums
  • Fan and/or Fan and Shaft Assemblies

Steel Product Heat Treatment Systems, recommended components include:

Human Machine Interface (HMI)
