Our Story

CAN-ENG Furnaces International Ltd. was established in 1964 and has grown to become a leading global designer and manufacturer of thermal processing equipment for ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

We focus on the development of high volume batch and continuous industrial furnace systems for challenging applications. Our rugged furnace designs have served commercial and captive heat treaters, stamping and fastener companies, automotive component producers, the iron and steel industries, aluminum foundries, agricultural, construction and appliance manufacturers for over 60 years and we have an international reputation for design innovation, quality workmanship and a dedication to service.

Engineering

CAN-ENG Furnaces’ engineering department has the knowledge and depth of experience to design heat treating equipment for the most demanding applications. Our team of engineering professionals delivers innovative, state-of-the-art equipment that helps our customers improve their bottom line and gain a competitive advantage. CAN-ENG’s engineering team works to improve and optimize existing technology to meet the changing needs of customers and the thermal processing marketplace while continually developing new technology for more stringent manufacturing specifications.

Manufacturing

CAN-ENG North America has 7000 sqm /75,000 sqf of manufacturing capacity over two locations. CAN-ENG’s local manufacturing capacity is extremely flexible and can be ramped up or down depending on demand via our international partnerships. CAN-ENG’s team of experienced, skilled tradesmen are specialists in the manufacturing of advanced thermal processing equipment. CAN-ENG Furnaces is an ISO9001:2015 certified company and subscribes to the philosophy of continuous improvement and accountability across all manufacturing departments.

Product Development Pipeline

CAN-ENG Furnaces International Limited’s R & D Department can play a pivotal role in the development of new product and processes. Whether you are looking for confirmation of material properties using a new process, equipment utilization or trying to optimize your current processes or properties, CAN-ENG has the experience and tools available to support your current and future development needs. CAN-ENG’s Technology Development Center is dedicated to process development research and product testing, and is comprised of multifunctional pieces of equipment focusing on both ferrous and non-ferrous applications.

As one of North America’s largest designers and manufacturers of heat treating equipment, CAN-ENG services the globe from our North American Head Office via Technical Partnerships and our International Representatives.

The scope of CAN-ENG business units covers a wide range of heat treatment furnaces, thermal processing equipment and auxiliary products. CAN-ENG takes pride in the ability to supply both standard and customized solutions to complex thermal processing challenges, increasing productivity through our design innovation.
