CAN-ENG has developed a modular heat treatment system that will solution treat, precision air quench (PAQ™) and artificial age structural automotive castings. CAN-ENG’s Modular Aluminum Heat Treatment System is designed for flexible expansions that allow manufacturers to respond to changing design specifications, processing recipes and capacity requirements.

CAN-ENG technology reduces energy consumption and works effectively in situations that require a smaller equipment footprint. CAN-ENG delivers more uniform properties across each casting, tighter distortion control, multiple cooling rates on individual parts, process cost control to exacting tolerances and predictable metallurgical results.

CAN-ENG's engineers allocated significant resources and careful consideration in the design of the carrier systems used in our Modular Aluminum Heat Treatment Systems for aluminum automotive structural components. The relationship between structural component, carrier and automated furnace handling are CFD modeled to achieve the required heating and quenching uniformity expectations unique to each load.
