Heating and Heat Treatment Solutions for the Forging Industry

CAN-ENG Furnaces International Limited provides progressive heating and heat treatment solutions for the steel, titanium and aluminum forging industry. Our highly innovative furnace systems for heating, reheating and heat treatment provide the latest advances in energy saving technology, material handling and automation, incorporating new technology to replace conventional designs. CAN-ENG furnaces are designed to meet AMS 2750 requirements.

 

Continuous Systems

Our continuous systems process volumes up to 65 tph for bloom and billet heating for rotary forging, plate heating for dished heads, bloom heating for open die forges and, quench and temper for forgings of any size.

Furnaces for Grinding Media

CAN-ENG designs and manufactures heat treating equipment for the producers of Grinding Media used in ore processing. Grinding Media for the mining industry is highly engineered product. Factors such as size, density, hardness and composition all play a role in the grade of grinding media manufactured. Grinding media/ball stock is made from round bar which is forged into grinding balls. CAN-ENG designs and manufactures continuous high volume industrial furnace systems for both bar and ball processing. Minimizing temperature variability after the forging process helps create a premium product. 

CAN-ENG Furnace Systems are engineered to order and meet each customer’s desired metallurgical outcome, (annealing, tempering, austentizing or heating for hot working). Our Rotary Hearth Furnace Systems, with capacities up to 60 tph are designed to process grinding balls after forging, and before quenching and tempering.  Our Walking Beam / Walking Hearth Furnace Systems or Screw Hearth Furnace Systems are designed to process grinding bars, prior to the forging process.
